Audio/Video of Petros going off on a massive 13 minute tirade at Lane Kiffin during last night's Petros & Money show. It's a must listen for anyone who is baffled by this particular Lane Kiffin response to why there are 6 Pac 12 teams in the top 25 rankings. I quote.
“It's the result of us not nailing recruiting over the last five years," Kiffin said Sunday when asked Read more
I see everyone is going ape shit over the outfit that Russell Westbrook wore to the post game press conference after game one of the western conference semi finals. For those of you who missed it, here is what Russell decided to put on his body before speaking to the media. Now do I think that it's a horrible outfit? Kind of, mainly because of the gold that is Read more
I ran into some guy named Barry Sanders last night at a party and I asked him, "hey, aren't you the black Steven Manfro?"
Here are couple of my Steven Manfro observations from watching the spring practices so far.
During scrimmage, a swing pass was thrown to Steven Manfro from Richard Brehaut and to my amazement, after catching the pass Steven did not accelerate but rather just nonchalantly walked down the Read more
I get about 3 emails a week from this little blog of mine and about 3 of those tend to be from other bruin fans who love the fact that I am updating the UCLA image up to the modern times (aka. nike) with a little help my friend photoshop. So here is one more poster for UCLA football and personally my favorite so far. Attack with passion, go Read more
Above you see the potential 3-4 defense that UCLA might run in the upcoming football season, the whole thing is predicated on having a large nose tackle and tweener defensive tackles that will clog up the gaps in the line, while having speedy line backers to increase the coverage of the field in both pass and run situations. Or at least, that is what is stated on Wikipedia. Now Read more
Someone sent me this pic of Kyle Anderson, Tony Parker, and Shabazz Muhammad all together in one pic looking mighty friendly with each other, thereby signaling the possibility that all three could be UCLA commits by mid April. I must say that would be a real treat for us Bruin alums and fans, but while the three of them look mighty dapper in mentioned the pic (I use hip words like dapper to relate to the kids) it could have definitely used a bit more of the color blue in it wouldn’t you agree? Yes, I see you nodding your head up and down emphatically just like I do when a stripper big booty asks me if I want a lapdance. Yes…. Go Bruins!
Jordan Adams, we did not forget about you my man, if you were in the pic you would have gotten the same photoshop treatment as well.
*update 4/23/12: someone has photoshop skills that predicts the future.*
So happy……. So so happy…… Inside you will find Shabazz Muhammad’s announcement video as well as a second video of post announcement interview with both Shabazz Muhammad and Kyle Anderson. At the end of the interview they both have a special message to the UCLA basketball faithfuls. Click on “read more” option next to the plus sign below or the above header pic to see the videos.
Above is an interesting video from website called Five-Star Basketball. The content consists of an interview with Kyle Anderson and his dad on the reasons as to why they choose UCLA as Kyle’s college destination. Must view if you want to know the thought process behind elite high school recruits.
Rumor is that Kyle Anderson and Shabazz Muhammad played pick up basketball game at UCLA today with other players such as former bruins Tyler Honeycutt and Jrue Holiday. I gotta say, Kyle Anderson has visited the UCLA campus more than I did during my entire freshman year. I checked on Kyle’s twitter account to see if I can confirm this rumor but most of his tweets are bunch of capital letters and numbers thrown together with random words shoved in between them. Like, “U 7 burger Chi R?” If anyone has the ability to read ‘teen’ I would appreciate a translation.
According to Adam Zagoria’s twitter, Kyle Anderson who is ranked as #2 SF in the nation and #5 overall basketball prospect, is down to UCLA and St. John as his final two college choices. Good news, this is Kyle’s third visit to UCLA which means he has a strong interest in us. Bad news, we might lose a highly touted recruit to Steve Lavin. It would be equivalent to Arianny Celeste dumping your ass to become a lesbian with your fugly ex.
