Rick is a goner, no doubt about that but the first person that should be gone from the UCLA athletics, yes even before Rick Neuheisel is Dan “The Penguin” Guerrero.  When asked if getting to the Rose Bowl would be enough to save Rick from getting canned “The Penguin” said:

During an ESPN post Orange Bowl interview, Jim Harbaugh or SC Killa as he is known around westwood, stated the orange bowl game was the last game he will coach at Stanford University.   Oh man, here comes the Fangio to to UCLA rumors.  Fangio, Rocky Long, Dewayne Walker, I dont give a flying F who the hell the next DC is, just make sure he knows the meaning of blitzing.   In fact put a damn robot arm there who pushes the blitz button randomly averaging out to blitzing on every 3rd  or 4th  plays.   Just anything that will bring pressure.

fangio: fuhgeddaboudit!

According to his article, Vic Fangio, the defensive coordinator of the Stanford Cardinals has stated that he has absolutely no interest in the DC position for the UCLA bruins.

Fangio, who worked with Rick Neuheisel in Baltimore, said he has not talked to Neuheisel, has no interest in the job and plans to be at Stanford next season.

In coaches speak this seems like it a done deal that he is coming to the bruins.   I mean Harbaugh has stated he has no interest in the Michigan job over and over but it seems the whole world is pretty much expecting him to go to the Wolverines after the Orange bowl.  And Vic and Harbaugh don’t see eye to eye, they are the rich white version of Renardo Sidney and Elgin Bailey.  Come on down Fangio.   Come on down.
