When looking at that panoramic view of UCLA’s Spaulding field at it’s current state (you can download a hard drive space reducing 2048 x 572 version here), you might think to yourself, “WTF have they done to our beautiful ankle breaking, ACL tearing, knee cap dislocating practice field?”

Let’s be frank here, even the above work in progress version is an improvement over what the bruins had to practice in before the demolition.  Also when looking at it from another angle that Joe Fauria with his freakish Manute Bol like frame was to get a twitter pic of, I must say that the field is turning out quite nicely.  However, if you are one of those nega-bruins who is not pleased with anything that happens in westwood, please take a look at the below picture which shows the condition of the Spaulding field before the construction began.  Yeah, now I see you nodding your head in agreement about how nicely the renovation is turning out.

Renovated Spaulding field is like Kate Upton’s ginormous breasts while the old Spaulding field is like Kate Upton’s pancake ass.   Night and day my friends.
